Two Terminals, One Chauffeur Who Knows Which
Gatwick's North and South Terminals are separate buildings linked by a shuttle, and arriving at the wrong one turns a simple pickup into a twenty-minute detour with luggage. We establish your terminal from your flight number at the time of booking, watch the flight from departure, and have your chauffeur waiting inside the correct arrivals hall with a name board before you reach it.
The fare is fixed before you travel and includes parking, meet and greet, luggage assistance and 60 minutes of complimentary waiting from touchdown. A delayed flight does not change what you pay, which matters more at Gatwick than most airports, because its evening arrivals bank is one of the busiest in the country.
The Journey Into London
Gatwick sits roughly 28 miles south of central London. The realistic door-to-door time is 60 to 90 minutes, over the M23 and then the M25 or A23 depending on where you are heading and when. Early Sunday transfers can beat the hour comfortably; Friday evenings rarely do. Your chauffeur plans around the day you are travelling rather than a standard estimate, and adjusts en route when the M25 misbehaves.
Gatwick is also our most common starting point for journeys that are not going into London at all: Brighton and the South Coast, Sussex and Surrey country hotels, and inter-airport runs to Heathrow, which usually take 75 to 90 minutes outside peak periods.
What Is Included in a Gatwick Transfer
All of the following is inside the fare you agree at booking. Nothing is added afterwards.
Correct Terminal, Confirmed
We work out North or South from your flight number, and the tracking follows any late change.
Live Flight Tracking
Pickup follows the aircraft. Late landings and early arrivals are both handled without a call from you.
60 Minutes Free Waiting
Counted from touchdown, covering immigration and the baggage belt, with parking included.
Holiday-Sized Luggage
Tell us the number of cases; we send a vehicle that fits them, up to a seven-seat V-Class or a second car.
Fixed Fare, Late or Not
The price is agreed before you travel and does not move with delays, traffic or demand.
Licensed and Vetted Chauffeurs
TfL licensed, DBS checked, and bound by a non-disclosure agreement from their first assignment.
Who We Drive From Gatwick
Gatwick's traffic is a mix, and so is ours. Families returning from holiday who want one car that takes every case; business travellers on the Gatwick–Europe routes who need to be at a desk in the City by mid-morning; and late arrivals after the last convenient train, when a pre-booked car is simply the practical choice. Occasion travel matters here too, with the South Coast, Brighton and the Sussex countryside all closer to Gatwick than to any other London airport.

Gatwick has two terminals, North and South, and they are far enough apart to need a shuttle between them, so being in the wrong one costs real time. We take your flight number at booking and establish the terminal from the airline's own schedule, then your chauffeur meets you inside that arrivals hall with a name board. If your airline moves your arrival between terminals at short notice, the tracking picks it up and your chauffeur moves with it.
Gatwick lies about 28 miles south of London, and a typical run to the West End takes 60 to 90 minutes. The route uses the M23 and then the M25 or the A23, and the variation comes almost entirely from the time of day: a Sunday morning transfer can be under an hour, while a Friday evening arrival into the Blackwall or Clapham corridors can push past 90 minutes. We plan your departure time around the day you are actually travelling.
Your chauffeur's timing follows the aircraft, not the timetable. We watch the flight from departure, so a delayed landing simply moves the pickup, and an early landing means your chauffeur is already inside the terminal. Your fare does not change, and there is no need to contact us to re-arrange. Gatwick handles a large number of late-evening charter and low-cost arrivals, and those are exactly the flights where fixed pricing matters most.
Sixty minutes from the moment your flight is recorded as landed, which covers border control and baggage reclaim. Parking is included in your fare, so the time your chauffeur spends waiting inside the terminal is never billed to you separately.
Yes, and it is worth telling us the number of cases as well as the number of passengers when you book. Gatwick carries a high proportion of holiday traffic, which usually means full-size cases, pushchairs and occasionally sports equipment. The Mercedes V-Class seats up to seven with luggage space to match, and where a single vehicle is not enough we will assign a second rather than leave anything behind.
Yes. Inter-airport transfers are a regular part of our work, most often Gatwick to Heathrow, which usually takes 75 to 90 minutes outside peak hours. If you are connecting between two flights we will build in the margin needed for check-in at the second airport, and track the inbound flight so the transfer starts when you actually land.
For one traveller with hand luggage the train is hard to beat on price. For two or more people with cases the comparison changes quickly, because the fare is per vehicle rather than per person, and the journey runs from the terminal to your door rather than from the terminal to Victoria and then onward by taxi. For late-night arrivals, when rail services thin out, a pre-booked car is usually the only direct option.
Yes. We collect you from home, your office or your hotel, and take you to the departures level of the correct terminal with help unloading at the door. Pickup times are recommended from your check-in deadline, your terminal and the traffic expected that day, and the airport's drop-off charge is included in the fare you were quoted.
